Athens, Georgia – Imagine ABC’s The View with a Dixie drawl and you’ll have a pretty good idea what to expect from The Porch, a lively new talk show. Like the screened, shaded sanctuary for which it’s named, The Porch is a place for casually serious conversation about anything and everything, from fashion to flu shots, from party-planning to politics. The Porch is taped before an audience in The Rialto Club at the Hotel Indigo in downtown Athens, but this breezy show is designed to reflect not just the Classic City but all of Northeast Georgia and the surrounding Southeast. The Porch debuted on WNEG-TV on December 23, 2009 at 7:30pm, December 24, 2009 at 7:30pm, December 25, 2009 at 11:30am and December 27, 2009 at 8:30am and is now available for viewing online.
